if you cant wait we are using WDLive kernel source 2.6.22.19 with Sigma patches, there you can find source code for smart card interface for Sigma, so as I told @moicas3004 regarding cx24116 tuner driver you can too patch this smart card driver to be compatible to SCI as in DMM receivers.
