OnDemand plugin devixified and working on all images

i've got solo2 image 2.0.3 bh everything in the plugin ondemand runs ok since the new update, but before and after for some reason ivtplayer will only play for a minute or so and just stops. does anybody else have this problem? or am i missing something ? if so what.

after a couple of days fiddling about and scratching my head I changed the image to openpli 3.0 and had it all working within 15 mins.

only issue I seem to have is the audio is very poor, particulary on music. anyone had this issue and ideas why.

the audio on bbc I player and itv is very bad especially music (sound stutters), however on 3 is ok and of course on all other tv channels.

I don't think there is an open pli 3.0 for db 800hd unless someone has it working maybe the SE works im not willing to try it unless someone else has. Im not that good at un bricking sat boxes.

I wish the Vu Duo 2 would hurry up

Hi Guys,
Is anyone having a problem with 4OD. I made the "categories" change and 4OD was working great up until mid last week. Now it does not bring down any categories which is simular to what happended before the last change. Anyone else having the same problem?

Unfortunately, it would appear that 4od have recently changed their player & flash is now required to view the content.
I notice that 4od is now available on the latest generation of Freesat boxes.

Hopefully, a fix will be found to allow us to enjoy 4od on our Enigma2 receivers. The library of programmes that is available on 4od is very impressive.

I cant see that having any impact on things as freesat receivers are closed source, there is a thread going on over on the ViX forum with a few ideas but so far few members willing to help in fixing the issue.

Mate, I just used the info from page 1 (I think its 10below) to get the ondemand installed. Then a few pages back iirc there's an update for the BBC .py module and instructions where to put it.
Lack of 4OD and 5OD have been discussed recently.

BBC Iplayer fix

extract the rar file,then delete your existing bbciplayer.py file and replace your existing bbciplayer.pyo file with the one attached.

restart enigma2.

job done.

I am doing exactly what Ian tells above. But when I restart enigma2 OnDemand disappears from plugins menu. The onscreen message says "Some plugins are not available: Extensions/OnDemand (No module named CommonModules)". Can anyone help please?

Or alternatively, is it possible to get an updated version of OnDemand plugin with a fix for BBCiPlayer embedded in it?

using latest blackhole 2.03 image and if i download from server uk channels will not work here in spain because of geo lock
what is my best option,can i edit anything to remove the geo lock

Everything works on BH on my DUO2 except BBC iPlayer???

I select a video and am then directed to a streams page with various options none of which work? The options are 1500 Limelight or 1500 Akamai etc? Hate to say it but it just works on the VIX (German for ****) image but I hate that image with a vengeance. So just wonder what I am missing on BH?

I'm using the blackhole 2.0.5 image on my duo2 and bbc iplayer is working fine m8 - pm me and I'll dump my image - (minus keys+special plugins :-)) and upload it for you

Donki that sounds like a really old version.

here's mine (its the last devixified version we wrote, taken straight from my box,so it has to work for you as long as you have all the dependencies installed)
with this version you start the plugin,then press the menu button to select your options,so select HD for streaming quality. none of this Limelight and Akamai rubbish anymore.

just overwrite your existing files with the ones attached.or better still completely delete the folder you have now,restart,then send mine over chmod and restart once more.
