put a formated fat32 pen with patch.bin inside, reboot in the hardware switch, the box will enter recovery mode, give you a ip, after that, run azUP

Flashing old kernel from original FW 2.6.15 failed, so without serial interface you are stuck.

is this normal behaviour, or am i the only one with this problem?

    install tftp32

Download backup_kernel file from the first post of this thread.

and connect on Your box by serial cable.

CTRL+C is to break boot and enter in Yamon

    Commands are :

load -b tftp://local ip of pc where tftp is running/backup_kernel 0xb0100000

After load is finished copy paste lenght ( just hexadecimal size it should be 0x680000 )

    pflash write -f 0x80000 0xb0100000 0x680000

Wait that he erase and write new kernel in flash.

After that turn off and update receiver with usb with original fw or e2.

Do you have internal sata connected? If so try to disconnect it and reboot, if that also fail you need serial cable.

Another effective method to install the best emu and manage them from the OSD panel is provided by these plugins:

Once these are installed, you just have correct the path for the file CCcam.cfg:

    SGC_menu:
From SGC panel installed the CCcam 2.14 and go to the correct path and the environment (-dC /etc/CCcam.cfg) in the startup script CCcam_2.1.4.sh:

    /usr/bin/CCcam_2.1.4
    /etc/CCcam.cfg
    /usr/cams/CCcam_2.1.4.sh

    Glasssutil:
This will install various emu in the path:

    /usr/UCM_CamSrv_bin # including cccam (2.0.11) & cccam214.

The startup scripts will find them in /usr/UCM_CamSrv_script:

    Cccam_Cam.sh
    Cccam214_Cam.sh

Then enter here the path and the environment (-dC /etc/CCcam.cfg) and you're done.

    ################################# ################################# #############
Now you can manage your CCcam from panel with their emu_manager and having a complete list of additional features.
    ################################# ################################# #############

Thanks ... to development teams of these plugins

    Regards

    Arci
I am trying to use SGC, after i install CCcam from SGC panel here can i edit the settings?
    i already have CCcam.cfg in /etc too.
    What should i do now?
    sorry

ok, i found it, i edited:

    /usr/bin/$CAM &

    to

    /usr/bin/$CAM -dC /etc/CCcam.cfg &
