    That is a great news!
    Does new E2 release include also wireless drivers?
    What about HD or USB boot?

    Just what I've been waiting for clear scrambled channels as I've not been able to test due to usage and could only read you guy's reports.

    one queston could some put together what things are required as a user sort of thing for example which versons of software/plugins/channel settings and tools etc we need to use. maybe put it in on place Ie a new thread for referance.

    cheers to all the develpers involved.

    could u guys in new E2 release include already
    addons
    xvid support
    audio codecs
    (all media stuff till now)
    wireless drivers
    scrambled

    etc etc
    my request is just to make it simple for all users, all-in-one. without installing modules one by one,nothing important, but it could be easier for some.:respect-040::respect-040:

    just put CCcam.mipsel in var bin.

    what do u mean your movies and photos? are u using internal hdd or usb hdd?
    if its usb, u dont have any problems.

    As I mention I added in init script in my linux to mount USB/HDD and check for /sbin/init file and if exist to switch booting from that mounted root.

    I will try to use kexec with original FW kernel and then to load my vmlinux from USB/HDD , but again I dont know how much this will use RAM space and if this is possible, but I will try to do something so we left original FW in place and we use new kernel/E2 from USB/HDD.

    I stated in another thread that pr2 started regarding bugs/test on new E2 released, that sattomy doesnt have right now free time to work on gst dvbmediaplugin. I will see with him or if he is reading this thread to upload source code here if he wants so someone else continue work on that. Dont wait for me on this subject, I have still to much things to do in main dvb kernel driver!!!!!!!!!!!!

    i think this would be pretty cool.
    but for the time being (my opinion) it isn't a TOP LIST feature :P

    Yes i understand, i was only talking about ipkg packages, without installing it manually, to come with enigma2 patch.bin.

    But don't waist your precious time with this stuff then.
    Forget what i've said

    Keep it up The_Ripper.
    ps: it would be great if mediaplayer part could be shared among users/coders that would have the time to help out.
    and updates could be done daily by ipkg packages.
    keep up asome work The_Ripper and team.

    If you want for rt61 driver to auto-load at boot time:
    A) choose ra0 for first RT61 WLAN card, ra1 for second RT61 WLAN card, etc.

    B) go to "./RT61_Linux_STA_Drv_x.x.x.x/Module" directory.
       $make install

    NOTE:
    	if you use dhcp,
    	add this line
    	BOOTPROTO='dhcp'
    	in the file ifcfg-ra0 .

    *C) To ease the Default Gateway setting,
        add the line
        GATEWAY=x.x.x.x
        in /etc/sysconfig/network

    D) When build for SUSE, please unmark the part for SUSE in Makefile.
       When build for Mandriva 2007.1, please unmark the part for Mandriva in Makefile.
    Thank's MickeySa ... Now it's working !!! :respect-046:

    CONFIGURATION:
    ====================
    RT61 driver can be configured via following interfaces,
    i.e. (i)"iwconfig" command, (ii)"iwpriv" command, (iii) configuration file,
         (iv)RaConfig61

    i)  iwconfig comes with kernel.
    ii) iwpriv usage, please refer to file "iwpriv_usage.txt" for details.
    iii)copy configuration file "rt61sta.dat" to /etc/Wireless/RT61STA/rt61sta.dat.
    iv) RaConfig61 is utility for rt61.

    Configuration File : rt61sta.dat
    ---------------------------------------
    # Copy this file to /etc/Wireless/RT61STA/rt61sta.dat
    # This file is a binary file and will be read on loading rt.o module.
    #
    # Use "vi -b rt61sta.dat" to modify settings according to your need.
    #
    # 1.) set NetworkType to "Adhoc" for using Adhoc-mode, otherwise using Infrastructure
    # 2.) set Channel to "0" for auto-select on Infrastructure mode
    # 3.) set SSID for connecting to your Accss-point.
    # 4.) AuthMode can be "WEPAUTO", "OPEN", "SHARED", "WPAPSK", "WPA2PSK", "WPANONE"
    # 5.) EncrypType can be "NONE", "WEP", "TKIP", "AES"
    # for more information refer to the Readme file.

    *NOTE:
    WMM parameters:
    1.) WmmCapable
        Set it as 1 to turn on WMM Qos support

    2.) APSDCapable
    	Set it as 1 to use automatic power-save delivery(APSD) on an Non-AP QSTA

    3.) APSDAC
    	Set ACs corresponding BE, BK, VI and VO as delivery-enabled or delivery-disabled

    All WMM parameters do not support iwpriv command but WmmCapable,
    	please store all parameter to rt61sta.dat, and restart driver.

    NetworkManager and WPS:
    If Native WPA Supplicant (NetworkManager) is enabled, WPS CAN NOT be triggered.
    For this case, we have to set NativeWpa=1 in rt61sta.dat.
    Otherwise, if we want to use WPS, we have to disable NetworkManager by setting
    NativeWpa=0 in rt61sta.dat.

    	BOOTPROTO='dhcp'
    	in the file ifcfg-ra0 .

    *C) To ease the Default Gateway setting,
        add the line
        GATEWAY=x.x.x.x
        in /etc/sysconfig/network

    D) When build for SUSE, please unmark the part for SUSE in Makefile.
       When build for Mandriva 2007.1, please unmark the part for Mandriva in Makefile.

    dvbmediasink

    Hello Everyone,

    As I am currently having a lack of time to go on with the patching of dvbmediasink...I will have to postpone adding codecs and stuff for a bit.

    I am however willing to share the code with someone if he is willing to continue the development.

    Let me know if you are interested,

    Regards,

    Tommy

    where do you have your movies located?
    i think enigma2 only partitions DOM.
    internal HDD isn't changed.
