Once again video is NEW, my work on E2 NOT (as you all know who read this topic), this work is put together and E2 is booting on this receiver!
NO Remote, NO tuners, NO audio/video/demux .....

Why you guys keep fighting with each other ?

New kernel and rotfs , directfb (gui work), Boot linux and E2 and get w.izard
next step is : IR driver, tuner driver, patch links in python files....

I really have no desire to write kernel drivers plus alone to patch E2 C++ code and plus Python. So if anyone wants to set up E2 SVN server I will add patches to C++/Python code I allready done ...

So once again nothing is change from my previously posts in this thread ...

Well I think Knaber wanted to show us, how he is moving in menu of Enigma 2 based receiver, which is connected to his pc by TV Card with Input available, nice work Kanber.

I'm able to use vfd_display util out of S.sh like this:

( export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/mnt/hdd/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH ; /mnt/hdd/MMP/usr/bin/vfd_display -td210 'Hacking. ')
And it show in the vfd the word Hacking
The led are done like this
( export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/mnt/hdd/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH ; /mnt/hdd/MMP/usr/bin/vfd_display -td210 -led boff ) or that
( export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/mnt/hdd/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH ; /mnt/hdd/MMP/usr/bin/vfd_display -td210 -led bon )

I try now to build it with the toolchain to get it working direct.

I tried it and worked better than I expected, any news on the date of the tuner working?

But, be carefull, if You don*t know what You do.
Cos, it is still only SHOW that E2 work on AZBox HD, for now, with no tuner&audio drivers included, yet, but tested and it work, (by mower and telesat).
After E2, it is hard to back to geniue fw., when during a E2 test, You got a black screen (it is possible, but with big knoweledge of Linux).
E2 team is preparing a tool, to easy back, from E2 to geniue fw. (promised it will be finished for tomorow)
So, for now, do not hurry UP,till we should have a stabile version (Beta fw.)
