Do you have someother kernel than 2.6.15 used on azbox? I have feeling that some of the problems are caused by fix "quantum" used by 2.6.15 which leads to high number of interrupts. I guess other boxes are already using at least 2.6.22. NFS shouldn't be a big problem as soon as network driver is working in the kernel.
Confirm if that thread insn´t from 2009... :sifone:

Dont believe anything you hear or read about azbug until u see it happening.And unfortunely until now we did not see anything happening ............I have read in a other Forum that in the middle of June Opensat/Impexsat will release a complete new FW, with a complete other Design and so on.
Maybe they have finnished the beginning E2 Tryouts?

Since some others bought them means that the AZbox "community" didn't loose one single member and the box is still alive...
Now who made the stupidest move, the seller or the buyer, only time will tell...
My humble opinion is that since the box has practically no past, it can only have a future...

well , lets take for granted that these info are correct ( i dont have a reason to doubt them also ) , why did closedsat didnt realise earlier that their fw's are a piece of crap? they needed at least 2 years to underdtand that and lets see how long a completely new software will need to release and be stable.

genxenv an setxenv are found under /bin .
These are a good tools to write setxenv stuff from the shell without serial console.

No the complain is way they don't release this new one earlier
I can't get it, so far latest fw is stable and working pretty good in combo with latest multicas.
Fact is new firmware idea is from the beginning off march and I won't give a aspected release date.
Azbox will not leave my home box is working perfect!!
I announced this firmware in the beginning off march and also told it would have nothing to do with enigma ( in any kind) still some of you guys called me a flamer and I shoul get out off enigma2 thread, even worse I had to app. to hfmls and raskino.
So far who was right??
Now there is a guy trying to get VDR running ( I wouldn't bet on Neutrino though) when he concours the yamon bootloader he has a chance.
Still that project isn't enigma2
