FW 30.3.2010 0.9.4717 has the best epg function, but malfunction in Youtube player.
With a patch I have repair the Youtube function and it works.
The follow 2 FW has many errors in EPG. Why that?
But the last FW has a better dts function as all other FW that I have tryed.
Why they dont go on with FW from 0.9.4717 and only fix the exist Problems.
Its not so importend so build in new functions, whyle the System FW dont work stabel without Errors.
The FW 0.9.4717 has only these Errors:
1. No Signal
2. YouTube dont play Videos
3. Sound is out of Balance and to a quiet AC3 Sound
4. DTS Files are hanginŽ Picture and Sound after a while the Files playing.
So they have to fix only first these Errors.
If a FW is out without big Errors than they can build in new function.
I hsve gone back to 4717 myself after the epg problems, I was even contemplating going back to firmware version 1031 or there abouts which was on my box when I bought it 14 months ago, DTS was all ok then.
How did you patch the Youtube player?
On myazbox.de we have a File called youtube player patch as a tar file.
In this archive is is the fixed player.
Maybe you can find it on other places too.
And still IŽ believe in Mirracles and in E2 too.
The Race can start, witch coder is faster: E2 Groups for AZBOX with a working Beta, or the Opensat/Impexsat Coder with the Final 1.0 Version.

he didn't even bother to post logs or another kind of fake-proof videos.

The network logo is present when it "seem" to start the box....
Box can handle an IP so fast.
So the box where on and he play with the display.... that's all.
The last hope we have is Mower (but blocked now) or maybe somme news on angacable from opensat.

Things aren't looking too bright.
After a flurry of activity it's all gone rather quiet.
I think time may well be running out for Azbox. It's a good box, but one that doesn't appear to be able to live up to it's promises.
Thanks must go to all those who worked so hard to bring the enigma dream. It's just a shame we have been let down by opensat.

So far I've been called a liar and a flamer but so far I was the one beiing right.
From day one I asked to close the topic and asked hfmls to check his sources.
Then raskino stepped in announcing same promisses whitout any back-up.
Early in this topic I warned that OpenSat wasn't the one to blame when no enigma comes.
No you find a way to do just that??
Just cut the crap: There will be NO enigma on Azbox!!
And I'am happy to seeing how enigma behaves on non broadcom chipsets.

Opensat can't release non buggy software. There has been little improvement despite alot of promises. The box doesn't even do what I was led to believe it would when I purchased it. These is a FACT not crap.
People are giving up and selling their boxes. Another FACT not crap.
The community has looked at doing what they can to bring either Enigma to the Azbox or improve on the buggy software. They have offered hope to the community by spending their time working on developing software. Again this is a FACT not crap. They should be thanked for their efforts, whether they succeed or not. The fact is they tried and I appreciate that.
If you read my post you will see I am happy with my box but feel let down that it doesn't live up to its promises. Opensat have let us down here with their software. I blame them for that.
Your little rant doesn't match my post. I don't blame Opensat for not bringing Enigma to the Azbox. It had nothing to do with them and that was clear from the start.
It's simply their poor software that imho hampers a great box.
