IMHO there are only little persons working in this question, and there is none built from scratch ..... only dfb or more less .... and work with this will be difficult, because i think that the executable must be signed with sigma code in order to support "extra" things, like hdmi or codecs.
so ... we must wait until the one (or two) that are building the fb finishs them .... and it can be introduced on official, after that .. e2 will only be a quimera

As far as I have understood the programs do not need to be signed. Problem is Azbox uses a different HDMI chip. Main problem is that dvbapi drivers are still not available -> this is really required for e2. Building e2 will be much easier when they are available.

I'm a member of many italian forums and I can confirm that Raskino is not a "normal" user. He always knows things about azbox before other users and they are always true.

which it s been reported lately that it has an hdmi problem...
and the ripper who recently started porting E2
the ripper and kanber have nothing to do with the first project...
@sattommy i think i have read in some where in the do***entation that you need signed code for some kind of executions ...... if you need to decode video with the chip sign, if you need to acces to somewhere that it is private ... sign

Here is a small report in order of E2 @ Netgic
At the moment, is indeed a hybrid E2 for Azbox worked on.
That means nothing was removed when the original firmware in the TV module and was replaced by that of E2.
Right now looks like this:
- Is fitted fb
- Python was rewritten
- Glibc is not yet ready rewritten
- Dfb okay
- Linuxdvbapi to be ready
- Gtk + will also be re-written to az
The all natural mega laggi runs and min.
1 year will pass away until everything is somewhat okay should think everyone can.
But then'd happen at least for what your box.
