Just sold my elite... It may be sufficient for others but the main reason I bought this receiver was for the twin tuner functionality which is never gonna come in the Elite...

The reason you shouldn't give away information that was given you in private,is because was exactly that : PRIVATE.
Not because people will call you anything,is because the respect you must give to the people that were confident of you.
The information being reliable or not is irrelevant,what will happen,will happen.
But you should have controlled the impulse to be the hero of the day by keeping the information the same way it was given to you :in private.
I do believe you only doing this because you are a naive newbie,and it shows in this chain of events :
people tell you in private,
you post it in public as a teaser,
people do not take anything for granted and ask for proof,
you try to prove yourself by posting more private information,
you get banned couple places because of this,
probably nobody will trust you as they did before,
now you have to live with the consequences.

Well I'm glad that someone has give us any new information. Communication from OpenSat sucks, no new firmwares nor other information in weeks. Current newest firmware is total crap.
I was already considering of selling my box, but this new information gave me new hope. Thanks for that!
As i said in a former post this is a hobby we win and loose but to be honest
this box saved me a lot of bucks keeping me home trying to make it work
so i think i'm going to put it away for a while in hope of a new whatevercomes

Not really sure what you mean by your post,but installing debian and E2 are two different things.
Or maybe you also want to install E2 in a media player or in your router too.
Maybe you can show us how you have done it,because obviously YOU KNOW IT !!!
