help with dragon needed

such a long time since ive used a dragon im stuck as to what to do next. loaded a dragon file last night for brother in law. as both of my technomates are au updating i wasnt able to check that his cam was working. both my machines had digi tv on already.
in a nut shell it didnt work ,so he has brought cam with his machine tm 5500 to me today. ive found that the cam keeps trying to initialize, therefore not allowing me to put in the keys maually or download a new file. tried it in 3 machines, just keeps saying initializing but wont either in dragonload or predator mode. any ideas. thanks.

as a short term solution as anyone got a banana loader file they can forward. i will try with tit card file in another cam.

Try loading the original Predator file by kinkdink.
Which version of the Dragon Cam are you loading? This problem can occur if you load a Predasaur file instead of a Predator file on older Dragon Cams.

thanks mickha. will set him going with tit card first. as far as dragon its a 3.02 version. as far as the file on it i cant tell as it wont initialize to let me in the menu.

loaded a tit file, just need to find a cam that works. got a drawer full some where.lol
downloaded kink file onto a dragon loader card. cam is dead as a dodo now. isnt even trying to initialize anymore, with or without a loader card in it.
time for him to spend, its had a good run.

Sounds like the bootloader is damaged, which can be repaired using a Cas 3 programmer or by sending it to van Hoof.

your cam may be stuck in initialising loop.

Please try the following

1. put your stb on a fta channel & switch your reciever off @ the mains.
2. remove your cam
3. reprograme your loader card with the last known good file you used.
4. re insert your loader card into your cam then re insert your cam into your reciever.
5. switch your reciever back on at the mains.
6 go into your recievers cas menu if you see dragon or t-rex loader continue to load as normal.

if not your boot loader has gone this can be repaired by vanhoof.
