that means the Guy who knows what to do has already left for home and needs to be called back.
The nerd at BT/Yahoo doing the late shift has tried to do the "Unplug it" and see what happens routine !.

Had same message b/t yahoo, but I had no problems logging on.
Yahoo(!?) is well past its sell-by date - Yahoo Groups is also in a parlous state this morning. Their engineers, or an automated error page more likely, are busy trying to keep it going

I am an unfortunate BT customer who still has to tolerate BT/Yahoo mail. BT were supposed to be changing away from Yahoo to their own servers several years ago but for an unpublished reason stopped and there has been no word since as to whether they will ever complete the changeover. I have quite a lot of email addresses and use thunderbird most on a PC. Every single time I try to get my emails at least one of the BT/Yahoo login fails asking me to enter a new password. I have a domain name which I pay for and the email addresses with this never ever fail.
Speaking to BT or Yahoo is a waste of breath, how do they get away with it?

Same here mate - but Yahoo not the only one playing up, as a o l has been utter crap too this past year since it was taken over!
Seems these new owners might have money, but are otherwise total idiots!!
Seems to be working fine for me, all day to-day. I would not be on late at night, so do not know if it is a problem then.
