DM500 HD problem

I have a DM500 HD which I only need for playing HDD (HDD enclosure connected to E-SATA socket). It worked OK for years, but now it won´t boot any more (stops in the booting procedure and doesn´t procede to starting enigma). The image is an old Nemesis 2.3 and I believe the receiver must be re-flashed. Would somebody recommend a good up to date image? I haven´t re-flashed receivers for years and lost track of available images nowadays. And the most important question. Will playing HDDs, recorded in Nemesis, work in images other than Nemesis?
