OnDemand plugin devixified and working on all images

in BH 2.01 on my duo I downloaded the online ondemand from the BH server and rebooted and that worked ok

but if I replaced it with the latest ondemand 3 with thumb fixes and 4od + oug from cokeaddict it gave me errors with the json and decimal, so I had to add those files by ftp according to ian`s instructions , chmod them to 755 etc and reboot and it now works fine in bh 2.01

yes it does. but it does not have 4OD or OUG

Hi All, Hope someone can help. I have openpli 2.1 installed on a vu solo and am trying to get 4OD to work. I have installed the plugin OnDemand-V3_BH-ThumbFIx.zip to the correct dir and have installed all the dependancies mentioned in this thread. All is working except 4OD! When I pull up 4OD, it pulles in all the headings and thumbs and browsers fine but when I select something to play, it returnes an error "Problem retreiving the stream URL!" and will not play. I am based in Spain and wonder if it may be a GEO locked problem or something. I know this is a BH version but I see a few have managed to get this to work on Openpli. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

yes were aware of this problem as reported by multiple users not native to the UK. were investigating it but this may take a day or two as Mcquaim is currently away for a few days for work and he's the one who knows most about the GEO lock restrictions etc.

Hopefully a fix should be worked up quickly.

try again now, getting reports that its ok again, in which case it would signify a server problem with tunlr which is used for the geo lock bypass.

Thanks pheonix, its all working now!! Man, you guys have done a great job. Just to comfirm, all is working on VuSolo Ferrari Clone v3 box with OpenPLI 2.1 and dependancies listed in this thread. Again thanks and if I can be of any help to anyone, just shout. I would also suggest to anyone using streaming on a regular basis to setup a swap file as these guys are resource hungry, but work great.

I've just tried the 'OnDemand-V3_BH-ThumbFix' version on my DM500HD. Everything works fine, apart from a bug I've noticed (on my box anyway). Most things work fine, but if I select a programme which has a lot of episodes, the box will hang while getting the thumbnails. So for instance, if I select 4OD player, then 'Channel 4 Food Programmes', then 'Come Dine With Me' (which has a lot of episodes), my box loads up the list of episodes but with no thumbnails, then just hangs. No green screen, just completely freezes and any channel running in the background freezes too. It's almost as if the box has completely been zapped of memory, and due to no green screen I don't even get a crash log. Any other programmes which have a smaller number of episodes work fine, and load the thumbnails fine.
Has anyone else had any issues bringing up the 'Come Dine With Me' episode list or any other programmes with a large number of episodes?

if your using BH 2.0.2 remove all traces of the previous modified versions from the box then reboot the box. once it reboots use a telnet session to install it agan directly from their own GIT / feeds with the following command.

init 4 && opkg update
opkg install enigma2-plugin-extensions-ondemand && init 3

This will grab the latest version minus the demand 5 player that were currently working on.

Thanks to ian's troubleshooting here for pixey managed to finally install and get all, including 4od after copying it's latest file, working on my DM800HD-SE clone running Gjstroom's OpenPli. Also thanks to Phoenix and rest of the team for their gorgeous work, specially many intelligent menu options, speed choices, etc. itv and 4od crash sometimes but no biggie, guess their servers' links are in regular flux unlike BBC'S. BBC-iPlayer as my main use had a narrow thin strip of an icon compared to others. So I re-sized it and also stuck BBC on top of iPlayer and looks great:

For users of the New Black Hole OE2 images I have repacked with the fix and added it to the BH adddons server so a few button presses and you have it.
To remove just use the BH uninstall panel.

It's not on the server as such but can be downloaded / installed directly into the image with a Telnet session and the following commands.

init 4 && opkg update
opkg install enigma2-plugin-extensions-ondemand && init 3

thanks for reply do i use any files on the board or just use telnet commands ie do i put anything in tmp and install ipk then do telnet thanks.

if your using BH 2.0.2 there is no need to use any of the files in this thread as all the dependencies etc are in the image by default. just use the telnet command, but make sure if you have any older versions on the receiver to delete them first.

when i type "brittania" in search it crashes??? maybe it is the length of the word or something somebody else type brittania in itv search box and see if it results in green screen and reboot, cheers.
