What is new:

- Added support for USB DVB Tuners - vTuner support (Satellite, Terrestrial, Cable)

- Back to old Video out API

- Fixed de-interlace remember option when exit from AZPlay

- Fixed scaling

- Fixed flashing trough Web Interface (added to new initramfs)

- Fixed problem with AZPlay playback (libcurl.so.4 was missing)

- Fixed memory leak problem on miniMe (DRAM1 was in use)

I think this is the OpenRTI release. If past scenarios are any measure then their release is normally followed but RSI then SpAZe, if SpAZe Team can be bothered to do one for AZBox this tme. Last time they only did a release for VU+ boxes. :(

This is why I gave up on my ME. Not enough dev. Great box but sadly lack of demand for it means owners are left to rely on the much appreciated and hard work of enthusiast developers who have the misfortune of having to work with whatever Opensat spew out if/when it suits them. Maybe the SpAZe Team decided there was just no more milage in further developing for it. Shame coz Millenium 1.1 was pretty brilliant and had it been developed to its full potential I am sure would have won a lot more fans.

Might dust off the old box and try this out over the weekend as I have not yet been able to con anyone into taking it off my hands for a realistic price.

Open AZBox MOD image is what RTi Core was before, just in this case Enigma 2 image is fully based on OpenPLi 2.1 Enigma 2 which is developed by OpenPLi team.

So it is always up-to-date with latest changes.

BTW. I have heard that there will be new Spaze Image for AZBox STBs.

Well I stuck it on and will use it today to watch footie but then it's off and back to OpenRSI as, sorry this image is just not as good.

One plus point is that I have now seen first hand how much quicker my ME is than my 800SE and indeed my UNO was. This image rebooted E2 in 7 seconds :117: and does a full boot into watchable mode in 26 seconds from a cold start. Love also way one can reboot it from the RCU power button. Ideal for lazy fat b'strds like me when a freeze up occurs.

If SpAZe image comes this could well become my favorite box again. Glad I didn't sell it on now.

Even now ME and MiniMe can be used as Twin tuner by adding one Sundtek DVB-S2 USB Tuner.

FYI. Sundtek added official support for AZBox receivers, and their installation script automatically recognise AZBox receivers and install all scripts and files. Also DVB-T2/C tuner from them is working great.

I persevered with this image and got it to almost perfect. Just some minor issues with the MediaPlayer. Can't get it so play SD files for some reason. Think it might be the old crossepg glitch again. Still can't get my head around why they seem to affect each other.
