i've much problem with mkv with high frame rate for example fast&furios 4, avatar, and so on. The problem is ethernet velocity. With original firmware i see this mkv with priority manager. In RC4 there is same improvement of mediaplayer
My first installation on azbox premium+:
* installation with jazup OK
* w_zard OK
* zapping channel very fast
* some HD channel are slattering (MTVNHD on hotbird)
TIPS for P+ users:
Add "echo 0 > /proc/fan" to init script to disable fan.
I also tested internal reader and it works for me with the newest oscam and conax card, but card initialization only works went oscam is starting. When I remove and insert card it cannot be inited properly.
Also check that newcs + phoenix and oscam + phoenix works. Newcs doesn't work with internal reader.
To connect phoenix I used pl2303 usb adapter.
I have problem with start enigma from usb. Dmesg log showed:

Especially evident in the sports channels. The problem lies in the periodic slowing pictures. How to use frame in fast motion scenes. Particularly noticeable in tennis. The ball does not fly, and Strobe Lights.

@moding, maybe you're using a diferent version of Oscam or Nagra cards arent working correctly atm.
@linch and/or @pawel5870, can you tell us if ecm times with internal cardreader are better then with original firmware? I remember with original fw times with some cards are bad in compare with other systems (dreambox, phoenix, etc...)
Also, anybody knows if CAS Interface works as card reader (since its a phoenix) with Azbox E2?

i would like to know ecm times too.
at the moment for me better performance are with oscam and usb reader omnikey late with a smargo in native oscam mode and final with internal cardreader. for my via4
omnikey--------->190-200ms
smargo native--->215-220ms
internal reader--->400ms
oscam binary are the same for mipsel-dreambox
When you're in this situation, by "ps" command look for a process line like this:
If you find it, try to kill this process then change channel... maybe you get audio and video...Code:1826 root 1596 S /usr/bin/showiframe /boot/backdrop.mvi

Actually the box downmix ac3/DTS to stereo.
The_Ripper said to me in official forum the team is workin on a plugin to send raw audio to external amplifier so ac3/dts could be processed as multichannel audio.
I don't think the dts decoding will be done in the box (but i could be wrong...)

So, as far as I understood, you are saying internal azbox reader have the same time as internal dreambox, right? So, if it is, thats all ok I think!
Btw... anybody knows if is possible to get CAS Interface working with Azbox in phoenix mode?? I dont know if that is possible with dreambox either...

Does recording HD channels work for you?
Tried to record hd but box hangs after 30 sec or so.
sd seem to work thought.
