RC3 UPDATE REPORT:
OK/FIXED
- first boot WIIzard menu (OK, no green screen) - HDMI
- A/V Settings menu (OK, no green screen)
- CrossEPG command line added (OK, now works without having to add manually, line to enigma2.sh, just go to MENU and select CrossEPG and setup your settings, i chose XMLTV MEO/ZON, downloaded and rebooted, EPG perfect for 5 days)
- StandBy tested 5 minute standby, wakeup fast, (OK, also hdmi hanshake really fast, 2 to 3 seconds instead of the 40..50 seconds in previous releases when TV was turned off or AV changed)
- Mediaplayer, no greenscreen playing 2 .avi and 2 .mkv (OK)
- Set record,record and stop record, manual process is pefcet,smooth and fast. (OK)

Improvement:
- HD channel stutter is less noticeable,not yet perfect, but better, 30w Hispasat tested.
- General box smoothness,speed and response, way better. Also random COG for half a second totally disappeared. (OK)
- Zapping faster and smooth .

**Fixed version fixes HDMI on First Setup** Works for me now ok.

Media player with various 1080p DTS file samples, and SAT channel scan worked no problems so far. (Maybe one 1080p DTS movie froze after 5 minutes and had to reboot)
We know media player still needs work, but definite improvement.

After initially installing the first RC3, I reinstalled RC3 fixed and HDMI video output worked on bootup with Ultra. :bravo-009:


RC3_fixed is definitely the best version to date and overall has a more stable feel. Still seeing a few spinning gears, no sound on channels/feeds with AC3 audio and I've had a couple green screen crashes but its really getting close. One other thing I've noticed is that my box previously worked when overclocked however now when overclocked, I can still navigate thru menus fine however audio/video decoding is screwed up even at the lowest setting. I would encourage everyone to take the time to do***ent and report bugs to SVN. Big thanks to RTi for this release and future work.

Installed RC3 on P+
- Installation worked perfect, DHMI output straight away, very nice wiz*rd that completed all steps without any issue
- no green screens so far
- HD and SD pictures are great but on 23.5 NED1 and RTL4 still studder (same as on RC2 but much better then RC1)
- AC3 sound not working
- Fan control menu is missing
- RC3 boot logo shows RC2 version
- EPG loaded and works perfectly
- Media player worked fine with some mkv and XviD files

This is a big step forwards, people can install this version without having to swap cables, and edit shell files.

The problem with standby still exists... when AZ is in standby short time it´s OK
In standby a few hours, AZ reboots...

Hy Guys,

No problem during installation
Very stable release, stressed it with many menu changes, quick zap and didn't get a green screen!
Great image quality @1080i on both SD and HD cannels
DVB subtitles working like a charm
Usual avi and mkv playing good. 1 & 3 butons working good. subtitles working good

Unfortunately audio is still downmixed as PCM stereo (Please Team tell me if i'm doing something wrong or multichannel audio is not supported yet)
Aspect ratio still doesn't work (all channells are displayed as 16:9)
I found a big bug: bootlogo still says RC2!!!!

Great improvement in this RC3
