Quite disrespectful in my opinion, but hey, it's a free world, right?

In my opinion these guys have realized huge improvements since the first proof of concept. For example, the improvement on the drivers is very impressive.
    Stability is improving step-by-step.

But again, who am I to criticize your opinion.

and i am using DSteam 3.0.1 release and TVmode is just perfect for me using cccam 2.1.1.

why da hell do u say it is just for hackers and FTA? makes no sense.
What are the benefits of the DS image over the original?
Sattommy said earlier that there will be a new release shortly with mediaplayer fixed.
I dont know weather to wait for the fixed beta

Yeah, so ? Everybody knows by no the situation.
That doesn't have nothing to do with the fact that you come here 99% sure without testing latest release and starting saying that only FTA working and it's for hackers and they now release stuff like fan off/on?

    Do u ever read changelogs?
    STC timmer was added!
    VDF support added!
    EPG support plugin added!
now they are working on recording and internal card reader...

Now if that's small peas for you.......well...i dunno what to say.

    No,
You are the one that doesn't know what he s talking about...
If you read my post carefully you ll know what I meant with the word easy...

It's not that anyone could do this ( in fact I think that the ripper is the only one that could succeed on this)

All I meant by the word easy is ( a less time spending procedure)
Fixing bugs is a lot more time spending procedure and any developer can tell you this...

don't use DSteam image! Some bugs and after reboot stops booting forever

Yes you're right. That's not harder or easier, it takes more time
Either way i think we all agree this first BETA is pretty damn usable and stable, for exception of tx0.

And step by step The_Ripper would kill bugs.

No, it's not stable at all. You're running one satellite, I'm running 16 with one uncommitted and four committed switches.

I get the lockup/freezing with the gears running the whole time when zapping.

Don't take me wrong here, I know this is only a beta and I think these guys have done a lot in a short period of time.

But stop assuming what the rest of us agree with

It's not working for me as well. I keep getting this green screen when booting after install.
Just to be clear, I'm not criticizing, it's still a beta version.

Guys, everytime you reply to someone's post dissing the work that Ripper and team are doing, you are increasing their fun of winding you all up.
If you don't reply they won't have the ammunition, and maybe, just maybe, this thread might stay a little smaller.

Of course it does work for you,the main problem is you keep on talking on behalf of developers and all users (IT DOES COME OUT THAT WAY),and they have their own mouth and hands to defend themselves if they need to.

We already know about your enthusiasm and was discussed before in this same thread.

You must understand the logic behind tx0 reference is that just MIGHT be a point where development can get stuck because (and this is only one situation) microcode for certain features from sigma might not be available,or is badly designed or written to be able to build and efficient driver or implement a function.
It is a very valid point,in my view, regardless is written in sour words.
You must also try to understand the concept : sigma might not have designed the perfect SOC,this mean you will never have a perfect box.

You must stop jumping on everyone that decide to post negative remarks or suspicions when can be well founded.
You have no arguments more than what you read here, other people might know a lot more about the subject than yourself.
Most people with little knowledge think this is easy, and you know better, let them cry if they want to.

Try installing with another USB stick. One more thing is that you safely remove the stick after you've copied the patch file to your stick (right klick on the icon in your task bar). Don't just rip it out after you're finished.

If you're running XP, be sure that the "removable media" icon in the taskbar is gone before you take the stick out. XP doesn't inform the user when it's safe to remove, Vista and Win 7 do.

I had the same phenomenom, another stick made it for me.

For All GUYS getting green screen when booting after install....
THE REASON is that your box must stay connected to internet or your router to make this green screen disapear.... it seems that a "background scanning of TPs" is running in background of fw while booting.
dvlajkovic did already mentioned it in a previous post.:sifone:

Background scanning of transponders has nothing to do with the internet. The background scanning only affects the transponder you're using when you look at a channel.

for people that having problem with the BETA version, just stop using e2 beta and wait when the release candidate or version 1.0 comes out. Because every update there are people nagging about can't install or E2 is not booting if you can't fix your problems by yourself or don't know what FTP telnet or DHCP is you are not ready to use a beta. Many of your problems aren't BETA errors but your errors !!!!

And for people who don't appreciate the work of ripper don't comment anymore just keep it to yourself and use AZbox FW dont bother us with your silly comments on this forum!!!

AND YES DVB-T AND DVB-C ARENT SUPPORTED RIGHT NOW STOP ASKING ABOUT IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!!!!

ONTOPIC:great job the fixes are really working when E2 is finished to AZbox will be a real mediacenter!

Yes and ity doesn't work with official DMM images on all DMM models.

You guys have lost the whole point off this image.

Tested DS 3.01A on my Premium:

    Tested:

19,2 east canal digitaal NL ---> SD 100%
19,2 east Sky Germany ----> SD 100% - HD 99% - German sound OK when selecting english audio track No sound everywhere needs reboot
    28,2 east Sky UK --------> SD 100% - HD 100%
13 east - Sky IT ---------> SD 100% - HD 99% - changing audio track results in No sound everywhere needs reboot
13 east - Cyfra+ ----------> SD 100% - HD 99%- changing audio track results in No sound everywhere needs reboot
23,5 east - canal digitaal NL--> SD 100% - HD no sound change back to SD no sound needs reboot

All with CCcam 2.14 from addonserver.

Lots off spinners coming up don't know why; background scanning? loading epg?

So for me there has to be a audio fix and the spinners can get realy frustrating

So far a very good job, keep it up guys
