Change VFD scroll in VFD settings.
I've tested RTi 1.0.0 core on my Azbox Premium +. Here are the results:
- Installing and starting AzUp1.2
-- Win7 compatibility-mode -> ok
-- XP in VirtualBox on Linux -> ok
--- why not compiling a native LinuxAzUp???
--- why not make AzUp work under WINE???
- Flashing 1.0.0 core (formerly installation 1.0.31 alpha) -> ok
- First boot -> ok (E2 is up and working)
- Factory Reset -> NOT OK (gears comes frequently, have to reset, this worked already with 1.0.31!!)
- Configuration w izard -> NOT OK (causes green screen, this worked already with 1.0.31!!) see attached picture
- flashing the image again and changing some settings without w izard
-- language german -> ok
-- HDMI Resolution set to 1080p60 -> ok (changed by hand in /etc/init.d/bootup)
-- satellite configuration Diseqc A,B,C,D=19,2;13,0;28,2;23,5 -> ok
-- automatic channel search -> NOT FULLY OK
--- HDMI is gone while search
--- have to switch to scart to complete opereration but scart picture is also flickering
--- after aprox. one hour found 5027 channel
--- HDMI is not comming back, have to reboot
- CrossEPG configuring, downloading, parsing -> ok

- Sound -> better but NOT FULLY OK (sound is sometimes gone while zapping)
- changing root PW -> NOT OK (/etc/shadow does't exist)
- RCU -> NOT FULLY OK
-- sometimes up and down keys worked twice on single push
-- Volume up doesn't work
- watch FTA TV SD -> ok
- watch pay TV SD/HD(SKY) -> ok with cccam as client and a dreambox as server
- watch FTA HD -> ok
- watch HD -> NOT FULLY OK (movie is sometimes stuttering but it seems to be better when in 1.0.31)
- zapping performance
-- HD to HD (encrypted) = > 5 sec
-- SD to SD (encrypted) = ~ 5 sec
-- SD to SD (FTA) = ~ 2 sec
-- HD to HD (FTA) = ~ 3 sec
-- HD to HD (FTA) = ~ 4 sec
- zapping -> sometimes the gears appers/remain and "killall -9 enigma2" or reboot is necessary
- HDMI -> HDMI signal is regularly gone! After a few minutes the screen becomes a flicker, then - after another minute - HDMI signal is gone and never come back. Reboot is necesarry. This is really significant :(
- cardreader -> not tested
- SMARGO -> neither FTDI-Driver nor usbserial-Driver is included
Conclusion: Really great work from the_Ripper and his team!!! But it's not yet ready for livingroom use. Recording, EPG, Timeshift, RCU etc. are still work in progress. But it's ok... even Rome was not build in one day!! Really big steps are made and I suppose it will be great. The project need just more time to be perfect.

I put this morning Enigma2 beta on my azbox premium. one I went afternoon to work, and when I got home the picture pops up all the time. are there other people who suffer from this, but after the reboot the picture doing normal.
set it 1080ip works fine

The EPG only so much that I set Cross EPG Downloader plugin, rebooted the box and begin the epg channel letter very much. It would also work if the clock did not go as fast forward, from the epg then they can not view the currently broadcasted program, because simply by time already elapsed. I do not know why the time is so fast forward??
here is a weird thing.
I talked to a mod from de official azbox forum, and he said: OPENSAT NOT SIGN THESE DEVELOPMENTS. AND OPENSAT IS NOT RESPONSIBLE AND DONT SUPPORT THOSE DEVELOPERS.
If its true, why developers thanked OPENSAT?
Which "official" Azbox forum? I doubt any of the forums are directly connected to the OpenSAT company.
As anyone had trouble going back to official firmware...I am using these instructions.
II) You have E2 in yourAZBox and now you want to install official FW
Switch off AZBox
Put usb stick with patch.bin (Official FW)
switch on AZBox
wait for IP adress on VFD of AZBox
Start latest ver of AZUp
Write IP adress in AZUp (see VFD)
Click on button Update
AZUp check for resque mode, also check ver of patch.bin (E2 or official fw)
AZUp Create 4 partition on DOM and formatted them
Copyng Official (old) kernel in Flash (about 2.5 min)
when get popup msg - first part of update is done, but dont remove USB stick from AZBOX
wait for reboot , and follow messages on GUI for update official FW (standard procedure)
It seems to run fine...I have rescue mode on the box and it shows the IP address so I run AZup and it loads to 100% then I get this:

And then I get a small box saying "cant create requested file on server" I have tried various official firmware and various other things like connecting laptop directly to box (no router) but the process stops before it loads the official firmware. Anyone have any idea what is going wrong...by the way I am using Vista laptop and running AZup as the administrator?
I had the same problem but on XP
Then I tried AZUp 1.1 and the second attempt they were successful
To back to the officiel fw you must use Azup 1.1

If I could get multimedia to work I would stick with this beta version is there any way I could add the file from previous alfa release to make it work if so could you upload the files here and any aditional info??????? Tryed project valerie but would not play anything
