** For AzBox HD Ultra, model without VFD , easiest way is to use crossover cable , so directly to connect Your PC/Laptop with AzBox Ultra HD without using LAN, and with that You will be sure that DHCP which is running with AzUP will lease IP address to Your device , and You can list it by clicking on DCHP IP ?

I'm not sure that I understand it correctly, please confirm this to me. Is it possible to install Enigma to USB flashdisk and leave original firmware operational from DOM, or part of DOM is always rewritten and original fw. must be flashed again?
I'd like to test the beta but I don't know whether there is a safe way to update.

I'm confused now. So Opensat helped with this version, which is great. I guess a few appolgese are in order from some that have slagged them off over the last few months. Does that mean they are not working on their own development and E2 is the only show in town.?

Standby works when closing but dont come back on well, have to reboot!
Volume up does not work keymap fix would be nice please!
Had very little trouble with sound or picture stability
RCU is a little less responsive!
Unfortunately media player still not working and obviously recording not implimented yet!
cccam works well
Had no trouble doing firmware update!
Overall a big step in the right direction

Still about VFD, can now shows all letters correctly? I mean if show leters like "ç" or "à", etc... I remember that in official fw, if a channel had a name like "Caça" then shows: "Ca*a"

Setting up HDMI at 1080p50 in /etc/init.d/bootup, causes HDMI signal loss after more or less of 15min watching HD channels. Zapping works, channel name shown on VFD, but no signal on HDMI. Have to reboot the AZ.

Setting it up at 720p50 looks to be regular.

So for me a new bug now not present before. 720p works, 1080p is not working anymore....

My box is premium.

I can confirm this. After a few minutes, TV lose Signal. Then I tried it using SCART, but there the Sync Impulse is missing.
I will try to go back to 720p.. hope it works.

I'm not sure how many people actually tested this version yet, but if anyone has, could he or she summarize the results on the primary topics:

- Reception TV SD (SAT, Cable, ...)
- Reception TV HD (SAT, Cable, ...)
- Decrypting (obviously not by using cardreader as this is not included yet)
- EPG
- Recording (Not yet possible I think)
- MediaPlayer (for different codecs)
- Subtitles
...

You should read better this thread and You would know more.

This was in no way intended as criticism or pressure. There is no reason why I should do so, I don't even have DVB-T / DVB-C tuners. I was expressing my curiosity for the experiences of others.

Actually I do read this thread and all posts, and probably had a short term memory problem regarding the tuner-drivers which had been implemented already. I remember now that this was all variants of DVB-S2 tuners for Elite, Premium, Premium+, Ultra, etc...

Anyway, I'm sorry you somehow have seen my questions as criticism. I appreciate your efforts and even more your results.

tested it today:

Sound and picture are in sync.
Sound no sound error, sometimes sound is not found but this is not common.
CCcam 2.2.0/1 / 2.1.4 working, but not as stable 'screws locks the system up'
Diseqc working with a1.2.3 and HB.
CrossEPG not working, cant be sure if it's xml data or sat data.
DVB subs not working.

Bugs:
remote does 2 commands instead of one when trying to select a audio track.
Sometimes the 'screws of death' pops up. Reboot or telnet killall enigma2 works.
Image is acting like it have Framedrops.
No sound on BBC HD and BBC one HD and more channels on 28.2 astra.

CrossEPG using xmltv ZON/MEO not working ... i auto reboot, schedule epg download, manual download and reboot, and nothing..
Am i doing anything wrong?

For me the important thing that maters now is the media player the epg in what button i press to see? and the clock who the timezone is select but the hour is not ok.
