Hi Dennis, I think you need to reboot everything including your router so it makes a fresh connect with your Elite, so try turning everything off and disconnect all cables from the router, also disconnect your router and Elite at the mains...give it 10 minutes and connect your router first to the mains and wait a few minutes until any lights on the router are stable, then go to the network page on your PC and see if your router is there...if it is, plug in your Lan cable to the router and the Elite while the Elite is off and not plugged into the mains...wait a few minutes for any router lights to become stable then turn your Elite on and wait a bit now go back to the network page on your PC and see if your Elite is there...if its there then you should be able to attempt to load the original firmware again and you should get an IP address.

Last thing you can do is to remove carefully DOM from receiver and then boot, if this doesnt help then USB stick isnt problem, some problem on dhcp app<->your router and getting IP address.

Well, what to ask kanber_kav ? Well next time i will consult him if somebody give me some "fake" thing, as I can see he is expert in verifying if something is fake or not
I promissed, when we show the people that this is not fake thing, that I will ask people to support petition that kanber_kav be removed from this community because of provoke us, making us as people which server fake stuff and so on ?
So if he have right to attack me, because i put log from my serial connection, and he have a rights to say that it is fake ? Why should i keep my mouth closed ?
Come on people, say who was right and who was wrong ?

couple of suggestions if I may:
I'm just as eager as anyone else to see E2 on my azbox. Though rather than hassling the dev team every otherday with (IS IT READY YET). How about we:
1) Have a svn log setup showing progress of what works and what doesnt so we all can stop adding useless posts to this already long thread of epic proportions. Can i suggest _http://code.google.com/hosting/ for hosting your project.
2) We set up donations, I know nobody is asking from the developer side, but it's our way of saying thanks. I mean if TEAMFSD can get donations to buy devkits worth $4000 then I'm sure we can all assist/encourage ripper and his team in some way,shape or form.
Just my two pence worth.
p.s I have the utmost respect for you ripper & co keep it up! :respect-046:

i have a similar problem. after update to enigma there is just the geeko :P message on vfd, but i have no problem to flash back to the official firmware.
i tried to flash e2 with different usb-sticks:
LG 512MB
noname 8GB
hope there is a solution for this. keep up the good work!
I think you are right if some are having a sarcastic go at you and make false allegations you have a right to correct them in the same manner...but it would be more helpful to all parties if everyone was pulling in the same direction, some like me that can make no viable input to stop repeatedly asking for updates and to be beta testers in posts, and some who could make a difference because they have an understanding and the knowledge to support the ones that are doing the development to help rather than looking for flaws in their work.

You are right, but I ask everybody to stop with this kind of position.
We understand that the project E2 is true and the first alpha release show us that You are right, but remember that other people promised to comunity many things and we still have got nothing, so I can understand the initial suspicion of K_K.
Now we know and we are waiting to enjoy with the first beta usable release.
So now I ask to You (because You are showed your truth) and obviously to K_K (he will have the opportunity to enjoy too) to stop this kind of attitudes.
Now we are so happy for next azbox's new life so why ruin that moment?

I uploaded new em8634dvb.ko file. Pls replace old one from /lib/modules/2.6.22.19-19-the_ripper/extra/.
There is bootup file too, replace it from /etc/init.d, so you can activate showiframe bootlogo.
Reboot pls.
