Just reboot with the USB stick connected with the E2 firm, it should go into Recovery Mode, and show the IP on the VFD.
Launch AzUp and reinstall E2 firmware. Thats it!

no, flash with patch.bin by the ripper using fat32 usb, then box will reboot after update,and an ip will appear in VDF (don't remove USB) after that open AZup and just press upload. enigma2 will be installed when it finishes

Wasn't this release supposed to have the video/audio drivers?
did u test any FTA channel or movie? (.avi or mkv) ?
it looks like the audio/video drivers are not included coz when you go into their settings, the box crashes....

yes, navigation is pretty smooth and fast. but for me is a green screen too.
and no audio or video in FTA channels.

i got green screen when i went to audio/video config in system menu.
navigation is damn fast and smooth, i did manage to search channels without any problem at all.
but no image or audio.
any coder around?

hmmm, no. do update via menu, then after reboot see wich ip u have in VDF and put it on azUP and update.
Not suitable for Premium+, is that the case?
what a shame i was hoping to be able to wack CCCam onto it tonight and half abit of a play! but never mind... it looks very promising! navigation is very smooth and quick guys.

...little (more) explanation about how to put e2 on azbox :
1. Load this patch.bin ( Enigma 2 ) file on FAT32 formatted USB Memory Stick
2. Turn Off Your AzBox HD Device, put USB Memory Stick inside and Turn on AzBox HD Device.
3. Follow the procedure USB Update on the screen, (patch version: 1.0.21 E2 by TheRipper, press OK, wait to finish, reboot - don't remove stick !)
4. Start AZUp , write IP adress of AZBox (see VFD), then click on Update button on AZUp, wait and follow message on AZUp and VFD, when all done - wait for reboot msg on VFD and then remove USB stick
btw, don't forget, this is not beta ver. of E2 , this is only test ver. because some people intentionally disparage this project and say : this is fake ...
and this is only presentation how tuner work and scann also.
please be a patient, soon, very soon beta ver of e2 with all function coming
but pls, I have a request to all of you, if you want E2 (fast to be ready) - pls don't distrb TheRipper and other and pls try to believe what we say , because , as in this case, only lose time in unnecessary debates
