can someone point me in the way to load updates via the rs232 null modem
it wont load by usb only gets so far then turns of,
so am looking loader to use the null modem please

do a quick check have u swap to front usb in the settings.

all i do is turn off box
plug usb in front
turn on
pick the file name
press OK ON THE BOX (( not the remote )) .
and wait for file to load in , when resets the box take out key quick.

I had the same problem with the fortec passion. It wouldn't update by using the on screen USB function. To update it you will need to turn off the power, plug the USB stick into the receiver and then power up. You will have to read the display on the front panel and remove the USB stick once the receiver has re-booted

try smaller memory stick i had trouble as you but it did not like my 8gb fob used 1gb one same file went in ok.
