With Compass's releases yesterday and today, I have no problems with Theme-X but no luck opening any JSC Sports channels.

Can I assume then that my set up / cable length / timeouts are ok but the JSC servers are either dead or over loaded?

download/upload speed is not the essence. Response timings is all, these are showing in the DOS box below 1000 ms should give nearly no freezes.

@mynameisEarl,
there are limits what C S server can handle (users, network connection to it, same channel requests, ...) sometimes it works, other times it won't.

is their anyway to change the response times as i can get theme x to work but when i try thor 0.8 the timings are up in the 7300 ms range and i just get timeout, or if if does open it only lasts for about 6 seconds before freezing again

Does this work for any channels on 16E or is that another program ?

@titus: nothing you can change, or if you have the means to bring the server closer: it is the time needed for that signal to go to the server and come back.

@pineapple jack: works only for mentioned providers

Interesting thread this, but how do you change the Com Port from 1 to Com whatever?
I can see from a previous post that you go into Device etc, but where is Device for me to access and from what (PC, SBCL,?). Also, how do you switch on SSSP on the Tech 1500c is it by changing channels as possibly mentioned earlier? Don't seem to have this facility in the 1500 c Options Menu. Many thanks in anticipation and

Thanks very much for this. I can confirm that the Dutch channels are working fine on my TM1000CI.

I must admit I find it a bit frustrating that I can't open ESPN America with this and that I have to revert to the ThemeX,JSC,13°E,C+france19E,Canal-Digital0.8°W,28-06-2010-_by_Compass to open this channel.

Was working fine yesterday now i got" portcom error",im using windows 7 checked settings in device manager im on comm1,any body else had this problem? I did have a go at getting Bullsat earlier in the V PLUG earlier would this hacve anything to do with it.
