We now try to make it by our own.

"fread tftp://" it is possible to load a unsigend kernel and this one is also possible to be flashed but you have to modify the yamon and add a script with setxenv that the raw kernel is loaded to the ram

First of all we can use this
setxenv a.linux_cmd "console=ttyS0 root=/dev/nfs nfsroot=(nfs_server_ip):/some/dir/nfsroot ip=(my_ip_addr):(server_ip_addr): (gateway):(netmask):(hostname)"
the start. No signing is needed.

If wee have a running image with that, we can go futher to get the rest running.
I have no idea if we will get to a working E2. neutrino or VDR but we are working on it. First try will be VDR.

We do not fake any Youtube - we just try to get it working.

So stop with negative stuff. If we see some light in the tube I will tell it to you.

Maybe we will rest with a Linux system on the AZBox and not more - but we will see.

The hope is dying at last.
Can you tell me more about VDR please?

Thanks for your efforts, it's what is so special about the satellite community. It's people coming together and trying.

Success or failure doesn't matter, it's all about the journey.

Recently there's been a more negative influence, a move towards "this box is better" "your box is crap" etc... Such posts do nothing for the community.

It's not about better boxes, it's about community. Learning from each other, learning from other boxes and trying to make the satellite experience better for us all.

In that I thank you for your work, because people like you keep the satellite community alive. :respect-023:
