    Best filmware for HDCI2000?

Can anyone tell me the best filmware to be running. currently have v16 but cant really tell the difference between the eight or so that are available. The supposed lip sinc and brightness improvments that were suggested havent come to much. The favorite seems to be v11 as i am told it good for C5 HD via a active NDS card.
    Any advice greatly accepted

    Hi leeboy,

As you say (1,11) is the one you need, it opens all 11 HD Channels
    on Telenor (Thor, 0.8w).
    Thats with (Laurals53) latest list (L53 12 September 08).

One way to brighten up the HD channels (I found) is, connect
your HD2000 up to your screen with a Component lead (£6.99) ASDA.
There is a little HD drop, but its hard to notice the difference.
To brighten up the HD, change on your HD2000 to (576p), thats still a
HD Signal even through the Component input, because the Component lead
does carry the 576p HD signal.

Another Plus is if you have noticed, when your one Premiere Film HD you
have the black bar top and bottom and you are unable to Zoom to
full Screen, well when in (576p HD) on Prem HD you can Zoom to Full Screen.

Another Plus with a Component Lead is you can record a HD source
in HD on a simple DVDRecorder, if it, and you screen are (Proggessive Scan).
And it does not matter if you DVD Recorder has No Component in, just as long
as it has Component Out, Out to you Screen, and in with a Scart lead.
The Scart lead is (RGB) and does carry (576 HD) to your (DVDR) from
    your HDCI2000.
RGB are the colors to look for when buying a Component lead, thats there
    colors (RED GREEN BLUE).

Cheers BF, Ive just squerted down V11 and the september channel list and am able to open all hd channels on thor, niceone.
I will stick with the HDMI Connection at 1080i as my nintendo wii is taking up the component input on my PDP4280XDE
    Thanks for the extra channels.

    Downgraded to FW 11, finally

    Hi there,
Finally found the time, will, patience, cable... to downgrade from FW 16 to FW 11.
I know most of you did it ages ago.
Just to confirm everything is OK (Thor HD channels, SR 30000 clearing with Diablo...).
In fact, I still haven't used Laurals latest list based on FW 11 (sorry Laurals), and I am still using/testing the list I have been using and customizing so far (laural's previous channel list, which was based on FW 15, I think).
I can confirm, as reported some time ago by herst and others that everything seems OK with the previous channel list: Thor SR 30000 clear OK and there does not seem to be any inconsistency in the satellites database/positions/channels as it happened long ago with channels lists based on FW 7 and FW 11, I think it was).
So thank you all, especially laurals for his lists.

Here's a few more software versions:

    1.00.04
h**p://rapidshare.com/files/174506645/hdci2000_patch_release_1_00_04_ve rsion.zip (remove space in word 'version'!

    1.00.07 :

    1.00.08
    h**p://rapidshare.com/files/174506875/Humax_HD_2000_10008_All.zip

    1.00.13
    h**p://rapidshare.com/files/174507109/HDXSCI10013_all.zip

    1.00.15
    h**p://rapidshare.com/files/174507319/hdci_eu_v10015.zip

    1.00.16
    h**p://rapidshare.com/files/174508806/HDXSCI10016.hdf

And a couple of excellent up-to-date channel lists (credit to original uploader) Fix the links first! There's a space in the date of the files which for some reason I can't edit. The dual feed file has the space in 30.11.2008 and the motor file in the 2008 part at the end.

Change the ** in the url to tt. (In the case of version 1.0.11 there is only one * to change to a t)

    Working fine here.
Make sure you change the h**p to http and that there's no space in the 2008 part of the url.
