Largest dish on a Diseqc motor ?

I have a 1.1 metre Triax dish on a Diseqc motor and I would like a bigger dish.

I think that the largest wall mounted dish is a 1.2 metre and I wondered if it was possible to fit a 1.2 dish on a Diseqc motor.

    Does anybody know ?

    Thanks.

    depends on the motor

there are 2 types of diseqc v1.2 motor , for 1.0 metre and 1.2 metres , either can usually take a 1.1m dish , but the maximum a 1.2 motor can take is the 1.2m obviously

but I dont think an increase of 0.1m will give you anything at all , you would more likely get a better increase with a more sensitive lnb

    I see.

    I have a 0.6 gold Universal LNB.

Is there an LNB that would work better with a 1.1 metre triax dish ?

    Thanks.

Also keep in mind the high winds that we are getting regularly....Gone through 3 motors in 3 years because of storms...make sure it is well sheltered...

stick with the triax 1.1 they are light and quite good performers you would need to change to polar mount to have anything bigger

I wouldnt use anything else other then an Invacom 0.3db LNB on my Triax 1.1m.

I would also recommend sticking with the 1.1m Triax. They are a good performing dish and stand up well to the weather. Ive got mine for about 6 years and It still looks as good as the day it was installed. (I clean it every few months with warm soapy water)

My 1.2 m dish killed the 1.2m capable Disecq in the end... Though coulda been just not good enough an engine. I'd stick with the 1.1 for your current setup.

I have 1m gibertini thought the same to upgrade to 1.2m on my darkmotor with metal gears but am a bit concerned on the weight side of a 1.2m gib. ,so you guys reckon that triax 1.1 is probably the best max size to go for for the diseqc motor set up ?
would i gain much if i upgrade to 1.1m triax ? ps. thinking of 23.5e kabel kiosk,11w,showtime,etc,thanx.
