I dont think the 909 has AU

The el-909 is one of the following clones of Coship CDVB2500E:

1- Topsat 5000/8000 Ultra
2- Lince 2500/M
3- Astrovox vsr-160/170
4- Startsat 1300/1700/1800 Super

and it does AU on some of Astra 19° and HB.

You need to activate the "code edit" menu in order to start decrypting channels.

I dont think the 909 has AU

I dont think the 909 AU is the same as EL 777.

when I first got it
but now even with the latest firmwares, there has been nothing

Yes it's nice to see
it has been working again for me with ...Firmware_080408 on AU
but some have gone down .

But can't get any Cannal + channels to work

Can anybody guide me to upgrade this receiver as I have loaded the latest firmware and the key file but I still can't activate the EMU as I tried both 2020 or 2121 nothing happens. Is there a different loader required apart from the one that came with the firmware?

That file EL909 ........080408 I mentioned above you have loaded in , yes/no

have you connected to the RS232 with the correct type of lead, yes/no

and if you go in to the Games menu
and typed in 2020 it should make Key edit appear on the list , yes/no

if you again type 2020 should make Key edit disappear as in ...on off

should be ok

2020 enables the CAS
2121 enables the AU

But there is something going on with Canal + set of channels on my EL909
works for me some times, but most of the time when I want them to work.....not working
is this the same thing as all the EL models

Put it more plain is the Canal + channels on HB changing encryption type
