Loading Latest Patch

Could someone please confirm if I just load the latest Patch over the previous version?

I believe the advice is to also first update the official Technomate firmware (v1.71) prior to installing the latest patch.

ideally that is what you should do

backup the channel list
factory reset
load tm v1.71 firmware
factory reset
load dm patch
load channel list
load tm softcam

Thanks for all your replies, yes I did do tm v1.71 firmware and factory reset and load latest patch. Can't test at the moment, still trying to get somone to change my motor and re-aling my Dish.
