The old 'DFox' version TT Go has been updating fine until recently - but has now failed to A/update from 1105 to 1110 for me - anyone else pls?

Hi again - just made fatal mistake by uninstalling GO with intention of re-installing as previously from original DFox instructions. However this involves installing up to date GO from Playstore, which unfortunately is not the same as the older version intended for this and no longer installs from apk provided.
Is this therefore the end for patched GO on android phone, unless I install and pay for official latest version?

This is what I use as my backup Sat Nav, I prefer Waze to be honest, but I have this too just in case I ever run out of data and cannot use Waze, or if anything else unforseen were to ever happen..

It allows weeky Maps and Postcodes updates ( Usually on a Tuesday) Its not Go though its Navigation, but it is fully hacked.

Just FTP the APK over and install it, then set it up how you want it.

Thanks as always Ian - hope you ok mate? Must admit that on Android Auto I mainly use Waze too - or Google Maps in real emergencies - but it's just that old TomTom GO had stopped updating but was useful as a backup as you say.
Will try your suggestions above asap - and thanks again
