Connecting Technomate 5402 M3 to Windows

Hi I have been changing my laptop where for years l used a program STBDaemon_304 connecting my windows 10 laptop to my 5402 M3 enabling me to transfer the files from the STB to my Laptop

The STBDaemon_304 no longer works on windows can anyone advise of an alternative program to use or is it down to USB transfer

When you say, "STBDaemon_304 no longer works on windows" Do you mean Windows 10? Or are you using Windows 11 on the new laptop and STBDaemon_304 isn't working on Windows 11?

If you're on Windows 11, try running the STBDaemon_304 executable in compatibility mode.

Navigate to the folder on your PC where STBDaemon_304 is located.

Right click on STBDaemon_304 and select properties.

Click on the Compatibility tab.

In Compatibility mode section, check the box: Run this program in compatibility mode for:

Then select the mode you want from the dropdown menu.

Click the Apply button.

See if that solves the problem.
