There's a game on the net for spelling/word geeks called Wordle, It's apparently quite popular with older people and people that like doing word games. I tried it for a few games and so far have managed to get everyone I have tried correct. I understand not everyone is great with these type of games so I made a little Wordle solver program that can tell you single letters or the whole word for any of the games. I just thought Id post it here if anyone wants to use it.
Your little program works great.
However, I do not see the purpose of it. It is a game of strategy requiring the player to think and solve the puzzle.
Cheating makes it an entirely pointless exercise and takes away the fun of doing it yourself.
i do like to wordle, you dont have to be an english wizz to play either. had a few that took 6 attempts though. i would rather fail a word than cheat though. downloaded. I though each day a new word was added at random. i guess not

No, it's just a static word list and can be seen in the java code of the web page. You can do older words as well, and tomorrows one. There's websites for those as well. There's also the annoying factor in that you can email your enemies tomorrows word if they have been annoying you :-).Originally Posted by 3tv

I think the exact same thing for people that cheat in console computer games and online games that require you to earn trophies. Some of these people share game saves and edit game saves etc, which all seems like a waste of time. Then there's the people that want to have long winning streaks and post the results to their mates. Or some people maybe just want to know the word after trying the puzzle and failing 5 times in a row. The thing is we are all different, some people like to cheat and some don't.
