You should probably state your receiver when asking this question, but everybody has an individual favourite.
I have been an OpenPli fan for countless years. That doesn't mean it's the best image.
Have you tried OpenATV image?

yes tried black hole get green screen .Big problem to load m3u player. vu one 4k se model . orignal not clone. yes tried open atv and open opi. also purr2. it loads all these images but it is after that the problems start.
Did you try OpenBh, or the older Black Hole image?
Since you've tried a lot of images, either your problem is hardware related, or you are loading something that you shouldn't be,
Are you adding any plugins, or backup files, during installation?
The best method, of solving this problem, is to just start with a clean installation, no plugins, or channel lists, instead do a fresh scan, of the satellite your dish is currently pointed at, and thenm do a soak test, keep it running, and check for problems.
Did you mention your satellite setup? Fixed dish, motorized dish, several LNB's with Diseqc switches, etc..?

yes adding plugins, but not installing sats.just iptv at the moment. have tried new image and only m3u iptv which is were it seems to be going wrong.
Then I think you've answered your own problem.
To be sure try a fresh installation, and don't install IPTV, then see if it runs, for at least 12 hours.
Thanks for your help. I shall load a earlier version of black hole and see how it goes.
Black Hole is no longer supported, but useful for older receivers.
Most people have moved on to OpenBh.

whats your reasoning with getting green page. still getting it,just loaded pur2 and channel list, but then crash. it crashed earlier with black hole version 3.1
going to load open black hole
I asked you not to load anything, including a channel list, as they could be corrupted, unless you meant you scanned some channels in, after flashing.
We still don't know if it's a software issue, or hardware.
Do you have anything external connected?
You still haven't mentioned your dish setup, and if you've checked the LNB, cables, and connections, as a short can cause problems.
I am using open vision 9.3. It has been running for a few days and has not crashed. I am trying to create a fav list, but not seeing the method on this image. That is why i like m3u iptv player app. Any link to this app which is ok. the reason i ask is because i think it this app which has caused the crashing.
Favourites are known as Bouquets, which are just folders.
The easiest method, of adding Bouquets, and copying channels, into various Boquets, is by using a PC program like Dreamboxedit, but you can do it manually, by bringing up your channel list, pressing menu, and adding a Bouquet, at least it's like this in OpenBh, and most other images, but I've never used Open Vision.
Just an update. All has been running fine, found iptv app for the favorites. open vision 9.3 has not given any problems. Thank you for all your replies.

I have tested images for many years and try out each image as it appears. The best and most stable for me used to be VTI but as it is no longer supported I find OpenPli to be the best.
I have sat, terrestrial and IPTV all running with no problems and also have lots of downloaded and recorded films and tv series and my complete music collection of many hundreds of tracks.
I do all my own bouquet setups and find no troubles whatsoever.
My main box is a VU+ Ultimo 4K and I also run A VU+ Duo2 and a Zgemma 7S. All my old Dreamboxes are now retired in the loft.
