Dummies guide to setting up Vu+ Duo 4K SE

You can buy Vu+ Duo 4K SE from my website, follow the link below...
Vu+ Duo 4K SE 1x DVB-S2X FBC Twin Tuner PVR ready Linux Receiver UHD 2160p

Installing OpenATV image on the Vu+ Duo 4K SE box.

You can download OpenATV image from
    http://images.mynonpublic.com/openat...open=vuduo4kse

If you need to install SoftCams, you need to add the secret feed to OpenATV.

You can do this by opening Telnet and pasting the following line and pressing return, after you've installed your image...
    Code:
    wget http://updates.mynonpublic.com/oea/feed -O - | /bin/sh
    Initial set-up procedure.

    Useful Software
    7zip - http://www.7-zip.org/download.html
    Winrar - http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
    PuTTY - https://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~...ty/latest.html
Either of the above software can be used for unzipping the openatv-6.4-vuduo4kse_usb.zip file.

Before extracting the image to your USB Pen drive. Make sure the USB Pen drive is formatted to FAT32.
Unzip the openatv-6.4-vuduo4kse_usb.zip file and extract the vuplus folder to a USB Pen Drive.
    Power off the receiver.
Insert USB Pen Drive containing the image you want to install into the USB socket at the rear.
Connect LAN cable from router to the Ethernet socket at the rear.
Connect Satellite Dish feed cable to the "LNB in" connector at the rear (Top = Tuner A, Bottom = Tuner B).
Connect HDMI lead from TV to the HDMI OUT socket at the rear.
Connect power supply input to the 12V input socket at the rear and plug the PSU into the mains power.

    Flashing the Receiver.

Make sure no other USB devices are plugged into the receiver, while flashing new image.

Insert the USB stick containing the image files into rear USB port.

Power the receiver on, use the power switch at the rear.

When you see the "Update! Press Power" message on the front display, press the power button (located to the left front of the receiver)

Once the image has been successfully installed, the receiver will reboot automatically.

Remove USB stick that contains the images files.
