IF You only want a scrap TV for Parts and for repairs it should do the trick they are a budget TV cheap and not cheerful and are not great much the same as Walker TV's , i got rid of mine after lots of painful self inflicted misery after only less than a year bought LG 49" 4K Smart TV and never looked back !! My advice if you want a tv to use then spend a little bit more money and buy a decent brand TV that offers quality and last over cheap built budget parts .

I have 2 Hisense TV's. 40" & 55". Best TV's I have ever owned. All have Alexa which is ideal for those of us who sub to Amzn Prme.

Hisense make some decent cheap tv's now, when i say cheap i still mean over a grand for something like a 65" U8. In a few years though they will end up like Samsung and LG who started off cheap and went more premium. Im not a brand snob per se, always check independant reviews and end up buying 1 of the flagship models that i can afford at the time. If your buying OLED then the panel is made by LG unless things have changed. Dont think Samsung do oled simply because of there Beef with LG

av and avs forums are a good place to check out if a tv is any good.

A few years ago Hisense hit the market with an all singing all dancing ULED tv, there were people on AVForums going mad for it, was well priced and a great spec.

All the reviews were good, and people were returning there top spec Samsung LCD's and LG OLED's to get this Hisense tv.

6 - 9 months later, none of them were happy, issues that Hisense promised to fix never came, as the panel aged issue's appeared that were not present at the start, warranty was worthless.

Because of that alone, I would give Hisense a wide birth.
