get a vpn router then you get the best of both. Leave your pc on std router for speed and sat/iptv goes through vpn router.Vpn routers for a under £20 with 2 week trial.

I use Nord VPN and chose the option of installing a script file on my Asus 3200 router. That way everything online is protected.

    Hi Guys,
I have left Firefox and am now using Opera which I have found very reliable. It does come with its own VPN, and this seems to work well as far as I can see, including access to a streaming site, easily achieved when the VPN is on, but totally blocked if VPN is not on. Hope this may be off help. Cheers guys - Brian

i use ExpressVPN - configured on my router, so all my devices benefit, my ASUS router allows each device to either use the VPN or the WAN IP - very good.

That is a very good question, and like you I await the reply(s) but I have the Virgin Hub 2.0, as there is no info in the user manual as to how to configure the router.

You may find the info you require here: h**ps://w*w.youtube.com/watch?v=nU9psdnyLJY, there are a couple of videos giving info on your router.

As it seems VPN is important in UK, even for accessing some sites. I think MyTV and VOD working ok even without VPN. But New MyTV needs VPN sometimes.

re the virgin routers, you have to put the virgin router, into "modem mode", which turns off the in built switch, so you then connect from the virgin router, to another VPN capable router using a network cable (for me, an ASUS RT-AC86U) and then that is where you configure the VPN.
