Firestick - cheeky ******

I had reason to factory reset my Firestick 4K over Xmas.

When I started to put back all the Kodi stuff I failed to notice that ES File Explorer has now become a pay item from the @mazon Store. Not just a one off but a €9/month (about £7.50) sub. When I complained they said the charge had been refunded without question, so Iguess they knew it was a bit of crafty wording on their store.

Weird because ES File Explorer is free on nearly all Android platforms although a tablet .apk would not load on a firestick. Whether that was @mazon blocking it or it needs a modified .apk I may never know.

I think Troypoint has a fix but be wary.

Has anyone found a way of using the full capability of a Firestick without associating it with a valid @mazon account?

I am a bit new to Firesticks! However I have put Apps2Fire on an Android phone and it will throw any apps, via wifi, that you have on the phone, to the Firestick. (Only one app has failed so far. BBC Sounds. Plays on the phone. Sent it to Firestick. It arrived on the Firestick but wont get going!).
