WiFi signal strong enough? Too many application still running in the background?

Clear application cache regularly so there is always enough free space. Also restart every so often.

When you fire up the firestick you have to put your ****** details in to get it up and running. I have read there maybe ways around this but I have never tried it. Once you have the basic stick working and connected to the internet then this is where you can play with it. A lot of people are using the firstick for iptv where you buy a sub and then install the suppliers choice of apk on the firestick. The firestick is based roughly on android and you can install a lots of apks which can give you access to movies and tv series and even livetv all for free. You need to download a file for you computer called adbfire this allows you to send android apk's to your firestick this is called sideloading. There are countless free apk's often modified to remove adverts that you can install. If you want free live channels livenettv or teatv for movies and series. I have had a firestick series 1 and then the firestick series 2 but i moved away from them to dedicated andtoid boxes such as the T95Z and then eventually the nvidia shield. I've given up sky and purchased tvplayer which i run on the nvidia along with the apk's for free tv and my iptv.

It runs Kodi very well but you have to be prepared to change repositories fairly often as they seem to come and go.
