    buying a VU 4k ?

    Hi sir I’ve been told on the above forum to start off with this when my vu liniux satllite box comes from goldwafers it looks an excellent satllite online shop I’ll leave every thing to him ie usb sticks hard drive I’ll flash the image my self once I’ve formatted it do u use the black ma I ask

    Each image is specific to your receiver, this Black Hole version is for the VU+ Zero 4K.
    If you post which receiver you're getting we'll upload images for it, in the correct section.

    The uno 4k is a newer box, the solo 4k has been out nearly 3 years.

    Hi sir I didn’t realise this what would recommend my budget is about £400 consedring I have to pay for the insulation of the dish and etc ie the lnb motor and the dish it’s self but he sed every thing will be in the price thank u very much for ur early reply

    Only you can tell what budget you have after installation. How much do you have for just the reciever. If you can afford if deffo go for a genuine vu box. There are cheaper boxes but vu is quality.

    Well thank u very much to both of the members above I will email gold wafers and have a word with lee my budget for the liniux satllite vu box wil be £400 I hope to get a twin tuner and a hard drive and a couple of usb sticks I hope thank u again guy s

    if you are only having 1 dish fitted why have a twin tuner ?
    very limited in what it will be useful for (same transponder/polarity/sat)

    It's got to be your choice but i know when i buy a satellite box i want a screen on the front so i can see whats channels i am on etc and also the time when in standby.

    Thank u members of this very help full satllite forum I’ll keep on reading on the difrent liniux satllite vu box’s and then once I’ve made my mind up I shall have a word with lee I want a twin tunner for recording etc plus it has to have a hard drive I’ve been told there come in handy thank u a gain forum members

    i have the solol 4k and the uno 4k,the uno 4k has an external hd but in my opinion the uno is the better receiver,lightening fast,at the end of the day the choice is yours

    Hi mister-t still doing some substantial reading on the liniux vu resevers at the moment
