30 years since the wall came down (remember it vividly) the Germans are here again.
4 Bundesliga feeds booming in on 3W today. Here's one:

    12643 V 20000
    ID: 3L Ingolstadt
    3LIGA
    INGOLSTADT vs ZWICKAU

    p2.JPG

    3L.jpg

    and...EPL Newcastle - Bournemouth

    3w
    11509 V 10000
    id : UKI1646 NEP80 NUFC v BFC Main

....Still nought as now expected here in West Mids with 1.1m offset

All the FA cup matches have feeds reported on SU today. Most are in Biss, but some are shown as FTA.

There are a number a feeds reported on 3° west. I have tested these, and again no signal for me - 1.2m dish in SE UK.

Signal strength of the other feeds varies - one on 10° east I scanned in was only just receivable on the 1.2m dish.

Two more feeds today reported on SU (with the biss codes). Credit to slayer7 on SU for finding.

    3 WEST 11666 V 10000 id=MOTD Watford-Everton
    3 WEST 11471 v 10000 ID:=UKI-1493 NEP60 MOTD Newcastle

I can get the Watford-Everton feed, but with some hesitation. That is with my 1.2 metre CM dish just NW of London. Can't get anything on the other feed.

Also reported on SU is a 28°e feed for Crystal Palace vs. Sheffield United - everyone in UK should get that.

No joy with the EPL feeds at 3.0W as usual in West Mids with my 1.1m offset. Got the German matches at 3W earlier OK and UKI 1498 Enc 1 ITN Malvern Backup Truck at 3W attached pic.

    ITN.jpg

28°E feed for Crystal Palace vs. Sheffield United - seems to be 422 today.

just reinstalled my dish. Got a little more signal but dont think it will be anywhere near enough for 3.0w feeds. Tuned the Odeon 24 transponder and currently @ 8.2db snr51% was 7.4 a few hours a go so looks like signal increases through the day.

Have you tried the ABS test card on 11461V 3062
    That's a good tester.

I get 10.5db on that transponder(atm) and still struggle to get the EPL feeds, so doubt you will even see them tbh.

I get ABS at 98% on my Triax 1.1 and TBS PC card.
I am in extreme SE UK.

I doubt that the 98% figure is correct though. Seems too high to me.
The picture is very stable though with no break-ups.

I am surprised I can get anything on this sat as I still yet have to tweak my dish.
Too busy doing jobs on wife's list. :(

I thought I would test this also as a diversion from something else I'm involved with at present.

I can get a video on the ABS test card, but it is breaking up - if it were a moving video, not sure how much would be viewable. For what it's worth the SNR is around 51%.

This is with a 120cm dish, northwest M25. Clear weather here today.

being that far south i would expect you to get more out of a 1.2

i need to check the dish is perfectly square to the motor. 3w is a good sat to hone alignment. a few turns of the mounting nuts can vary the signal by a db or 2. Busy painting. will get back to the dish at the weekend and see if anymore signal can be gained. either way it will be worth it for a boost on other sats if i can nail alignment.

I couldn't get any football feeds on this sat this season due to the storms battering my dish.
I still have not found the time to replace my 1.1 Triax with a new 1.25 Gibertini.
I have so many jobs to do around the house and the wife is always cracking the whip. :(
I thought taking early retirement was going to be a good idea. I am busier than ever now.

had another go today before the weather takes a turn for the worse. Ive tweaked the dish alignment to the motor pole clamp. On the Motor itself were you set latitude i used that surface to slide a ruler to the dish marking each side. It was the easy to notice the dish wasnt actually square on to the motor so i tweaked that but didnt really gain anything. There is play in the motor which doesnt help

I use catseye's list. ABS-3A 3W already exists on this channel list.
