Try disconnecting anything you have attached, including the satellite co-ax cable, just have your HDMI cable, and USB device, connected, then follow Lee's guide:
    https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthrea...ng-up-Vu-Uno4K

If you still get nothing all I can suggest is that you try a different brand/size USB stick.
Can you try it on a different television?

Try connecting the receiver to your router, using an ethernet cable, then download the Dreambox Control Centre:
    https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthrea...f-DCC-E2-v1-50

Start up the DCC_E2.exe file, on your PC.
Once it opens press the Suchen icon, under Dreambox, then Suche, and see if it racognizes your VU+ Uno 4K, and supplies an IP address.

Also check some of the videos, on youtube:

    DCL,
When I bought the box I perhaps downloaded the file or UnO. But that was before I got the box and Micha uploaded the correct file for Uno4k. So the file for uno i deleted.

"BlackHole-3.0.3-vuuno4k_usb_release_20170220_5d48 f4d" IS the one I have tried!!!!

I have also tried "openatv-5.3-vuuno4k-20170303_usb", same result.

I will try Mickha suggestion with Dreambox Control Centre now

    thanks

    Mickha:
    Thanks for your suggestion.

No DCC doesnt seem to find anything, just the router, my spiderbox and my computer. No Uno4k. (have tried it with my spiderbox disconneted also)

And also when I log in to my router to see what's connected it isnt there.

Is it strange that is doesnt make a sound when I turn it on? Should there be a fan or anything?

Can it be so that it has been started up and is set at 2160p, that why I cant see anything.
But of course then, with all your explantion and help, it would still startup and install a image when started up with a usb stick with correctly install image.

Dont know what else I can do............................... ..

    /Fredrik

    Well, one more thing

When the reciver is on, the remote controll works. When I press a buttom, any buttom, the 4 white circle turn on/off.
So it cant be all dead.

Have you got access to any other television, with a HDMI port, just to test it on?
The receiver doesn't need to be connected to a satellite dish, to install, and set up, your receiver.

I think it might need to be returned, and be tested, to locate the problem.
