Mag 254w1 box locked

Hi guys i have a Mag 254w1 which is locked anyone know how unlock these ?
its locked to d-tv software meaning you cant add any portals.

Have you powered off/on again mate and rebooted from options?
Also, if your IPTV deal has expired you'll get 'Stb Blocked' and have to renegotiate!

yeah mate done that its a Mag 254w1 in settings there is no server option to add a portal
and on boot up it goes straight to d-tv asking for paying options.there is no way to add
any other portal. i actually have 2 boxes the other is fine and i add portals now and then
plus trials n stuff and this 2nd box was to use @ my oldmans place. i could try resetting
the box ? goin into the bios options what do you think

Have you tried using the cogwheel button at top of remote to get into settings to try to enter a new portal?
It took me ages to discover this 'way out'!!! lol!!

yeah tried that too holmroad, got that remote well sussed lol
i will try the bios option before the end of the week and let
you know how i get on. its good to suss these things incase
anyone else ever gets locked out

When the box is booting press Menu key sometimes works to unlock.
