    Driver problem

Guys I have just been given a old skystar 2 pci card but the problem is I can't find any drivers on line for it. The only site that looked safe the download failed each time.

The Techinsat no longer has the drivers.

    Can anyone help

    Cheers

    Hi Keano,

What OS are you hoping to use it on ?

I found that some of the Skystar kit will only work up to Windows XP.

Although some later OSs say they use "Chicago" drivers there is a difference in the instruction set (or system calls) which means the later OSs are not compatible.

I guess that is why many sites have ceased supplying the drivers.

The architecture is similar to the Haupauge WinTV Nova S

worth a try but set an install point as it might screw your system.

I took about 30 seconds to find the drivers here:

I did spend over a hour looking on the net for a safe site to download from, the link you posted I download it from there and actually got a Trojan from it when it hit 99% install.

After all that I find that my system and the Skystar 2 don't actaully work togther very well so after all that it was a waste of time any way.
