    Antenna Overload Message

    Hi guys!

Just arrived at a new apartement where I am going to leave and connected my Spider6000 to a satellite plug on the wall (the builing seems to have a big dish on the roof).
Suddenly my receiver shown a message saying "Antenna Overload" and shut down. I removed the cable and receiver is fine.
What can be the cause of the problem? Cable problem or network in the builing?

    thanks for your help!

    Hi
I think you need to speak to the apartment owner and ask for details about the LNB / Type / and Voltage on the dish, it seems not compatible.
Just to add ask what the plug on the wall is connected to.

" Just to add ask what the plug on the wall is connected to. "

Could it be that it is a communal terrestrial aerial, and not the satellite connection that the OP thinks it is.
