Amstrad and Sky got the mainstream ball rolling. How many in the UK went motorised once Filmnet and Tv1000 left Astra 19.2?

I can hold my hand up to this, still have a motorised set up but do not bother with TV/Sat much at all now.

I still occasionally use my TM5402HD M3 sat receiver/ motorised system - I often (2 or 3 times a week) update my channel list - find it very relaxing and rewarding to do - so if anyone wants an up to date channel list for this range, please advise

might be old fashoned but i still use and enjoy motorised sat tv with lines,as i have tried paid streaming providers(a few) but even with vpn router and paid vpn service, still get many dropouts, out of synk sound, channels going down and many other faults,my ip provider /phone line speed is 13m,so iptv is a poor second.

One of the great memories was sitting around waiting for the old D2mac new code to come down in time for the evening's programmes, or the new film we were all waiting to see or record..? Is that correct?? cheers - Brain
