    Icon12 no router connection

hi everyone, I need your HELP please! I tried to connect my reciever HitechBox HB9000 to my network but I can't. I have got a router to TalkTalk. I tried Wire Network LAN but that doesn't connect, plus I tried WiFi Network but that doesn't connect either. Can you give me any idea of what to do. It would really help me! Thank you.

    Hi
Just to add, you would need a USB Wi-Fi dongle to use the Wi-Fi option.

I dont believe this box has wifi access so no idea why you are trying that ?

connect a standard ethernet cable between the ethernet port on the back of the HB and your router

the HB should receive a LAN ip address if using DHCP

Normal good practice is to switch off everything, then switch on Router, leave for about 2 minutes,
for it to settle, then switch on Receiver.

It should be just plug n' play with nothing to setup for wired ethernet connection, well at least it was for me, but I don't know about your Talktalk router but should be no different?

    Reboot your router and HB9000.
