    Hi
Main menu / Sat Installation / Conditional Access / EMU Keys Editor, Then 'Edit' , 'Add' , or 'Fav' Get keys from Internet.

look out if you 'get keys from internet' as the stb may download biss keys against different frequencies to what you have stored in your box. you may then need to renter the key menu and adjust the frequency accordingly.

There are actually 3 ways to add biss keys to the hitech box.

    1. As stated by jbvid above.

    2. Goto 'upgrade & backup' and select 'backup in USB' and select' save EMU keys to USB', this will put a text file on your USB stick, simply pop this in your computer and edit one of the old biss keys using notepad, ensuring you get the correct SID and frequency right. Then put it back in your Hitechbox and select 'restore EMU keys from USB'

    3. You can do it directly into the box by using the editor ozzsurf posted in this post https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthrea...l=1#post946245 You can download the EMU text file, and edit it, and then send it back to the Hitechbox.
However, this method can crash the box as it's unofficial, so you may need to reset the box by unplugging the power cable, but the key will still be saved

And lastly, any existing biss key can be edited easily if the key changes, simply tune to the channel and press '0000' this will bring up a box to edit the key.
Note, this is only for a key change, if the SID or freq change, you will have to use 1 of the above methods.

open a recent dreambox/vu softcam key in notepad and you can see what can be opened , although this thread is about BISS keys and not softcam keys , whereas 39e is opened by a softcam key, not a biss key (2 separate entitities and as different as petrol and diesel) - rednoddy asked about BISS key entry, not softcam key entry

ucas softcam keys for bulsat on 39e open the following 9 channels on my spider

    nova sport
    nova tv
    diema
    diema family
    TCM / cartoon n/w
    cartoon n/w russia
    nickelodeon
    axn
    planeta

for biss keys, check the recently updated BISS key post in the BISS forum here on pimps

well both options are now covered, but you posted in this thread yesterday https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?172647-Bulsat and that already had the same details (or almost the same)

I just checked my spiderbox against that list which was posted several months ago

that way any facts I gave you today were up to date (but havent changed)
