PowerVu With Stream relay & Oscam Emu

It is very encouraging news that due to latest changes, Oscam Emu now support opening of PowerVu channels in Enigma2 through "Stream Relay method". Everything happens inside the STB, no PC required. Enigma2 streams to oscam-emu, and oscam-emu streams back to Enigma-2. All on the STB. You can watch on Enigma2 directly. You can add the stream URL to your channel list, and directly watch on the E2. So, the stream relay needs a fast CPU. For example, CPU usage on VU+ Duo2 for SD Channel 5% & for HD Channel is 15%. Not every STB is fast enough. So only those receivers will be suitable which have powerfull CPUs, like Vu+ Solo2, Duo2 or Dreambox DM800SE V2 etc.

How to do settings for PowerVU:
Keys are put into SoftCam.Key, which is placed inside the same folder oscam.conf is
    (for example /etc/tuxbox/config)

    Key format in SoftCam.Key:
    P <srvid> <nb> <key>
    P 1234 01 11223344556677
    Note:
    - For best performance, the "Include ECM in http streams" setting must be enabled. If your image supports it (openpli, openatv), you can find it here: OpenWebif -> Settings -> Customize
    - If the setting is not available, you may need to adjust the "ECM fix delay" setting in oscam webif (Config -> Stream Relay). Increase/Lower it until there is no stuttering.
    - When using VU+ devices, make sure to use the latest drivers (June 2015), if you encounter any problems.

    Channel Config:
    1. Go to the OpenWebif and click on the "Stream" button for the channel you want to add.
    2. Download and save the .m3u file.
    3. Open the .m3u file with a text edior and get the stream link. It looks like this:
    http://stb:8001/1:0:19:1234:3EF:1:C00000:0:0:0:
    4. Replace the port (8001) with the relay port (default: 17999)
    http://stb:17999/1:0:19:1234:3EF:1:C00000:0:0:0:
    5. Add the new stream link to your channel list (for example with DreamBoxEdit)
    Note:
    - When using DreamBoxEdit:
    - A. Go to the list in the middle pane "TV User Bouquet details".
    - B. Right click on a channel, select "IPTV and other streaming services", select "Add".
    - C. Select "DVB/TS".
    - D. Choose a name and use the new stream link as URL.
    - E. Use the "Service ID" of the original channel. You can find it in the left list ("Services").
But I have not tested it yet for two reasons:
    1. At the moment away from my satellite system.
    2. I have Dreambox DM800 HD PVR which has a slower CPU (333 MHz).

    (Many Thanks Ghouri)

I am struggling with this so would appreciate any pointers to get me going.

I have a vu ultimo 4k. I am using the latest DreamBoxedit and cannot get beyond

There is no option for TV user Bouquet details and right clicking anywhere does nothing.
I am stumped. I have changed the port number for the url but cannot progress any further.

In dreamboxedit you should have three panes.
    Leftmost is the "services"
Rightmost is the "TV user bouquets" and in the central pane
    "TV User Bouquet Details"

It may be that the panes have been resized. Try dragging the edges to resize them.
Then right click anywhere in the central pane to add a new streaming service.

I assume you have already downloaded your channel list into dreamboxedit?

Have you done the first part correctly?
I haven't attempted this but the instructions seem detailed.
I just tried using Openwebif, to get the stream address, but as I'm currently on 19.2E I got the information for TNT HD.
Clicking on the stream link, in Openwebif, top left, and opening with notepad, instead of the VLC player, I get the http:// stream address, to use in dreamboxedit, when adding the IPTV/Streaming Service details, in DVB/Ts format.
How far have you progressed dog-man?
Have you added all the information required?
    What image are you using?

    I am using Openpli4.

I have done all the above, obtaining the stream address and changing the port etc.

I will start over in case I did something wrong.

I want to install openpli 6 so will retry after that and a factory reset is done just to make sure thaqt no grmlins are hiding in my installation.

Which Oscam Emu version do you have loaded?
Are you limited, on an Ultimo 4K, for a choice of versions that work, with your receiver?

    I am using 'SVN11390-armv7-webif'.

On the ultimo 4k only arm based oscam will work.

I am starting again from scratch with openpli6 and a factory reset so I will see how it goes.

    I have progressed a little.

I am concentrating on one channel to get working before I try others.

I can get one channel to show buffering at the top of a black screen over and over.
I am hoping it is looking for a key and this is normal.

    Is it normal?

I notice that my pci card needs only one key (00) for powervu.
Does the VU ultimo 4k need two keys (00 & 01) to work?

    Is that perhaps my problem?

Your problem might be the Oscam version, you're using, the keys file, or even the data entered in the streaming services, you have added.
Hopefully someone with a 4k receiver can confirm that they have it working, and explain how.

I have followed the instructions to the letter as far as I can be sure.

The problem is, that there are more than one set of instructions and all have slight differences.

I think the emu part is not running as I can't see it in webif. I clear channels using cccam via oscam.

Should there be an entry in oscam.server for emu?
    I can't see one there.

I have now discovered that the oscam I had was not an emu version, even though it was labelled as such. I now have the correct emu oscam and can see the emu server, so I should be successful when I fiddle some more tomorrow.
