Hello everyone!

I am a newbie to satellite and while searching for info. I stumbled upon this site and have spent many hours reading threads. Although competent with computer I have never done any patch or biss to a receiver and there are many other terms used in here that I don't understand. Hopefully I'd get some answer here.

I want to buy a sat receiver for the 27.5w, between an icecrypt s1600 and TM 5402 HDM3, which one should I go for? I'd like to buy the TM5402 but I am worried that I may break it while trying to patch. Here in the UK I have been using the Humax HD but the other location is in southern Spain and I only want to get the Freeview channels from the 27.5w sat. Please give advices! Thanks.
