    Icon9 Help!! Clarke Tech ET9000

    hi i'm new user.
i have a big problem with my tuner
    it's a clarke tech et9000 and it's locked
i have installed a boot-loader (openvix) and now i can't upload new images because the tuner remains locked in the voice 'flashing...' but nothing happens.
if i try to upload a new boot loader remains to the voice 'booting...' and nothing happens!
    What can i do?
    Thanks.

Based on past experience you should try to flash old type bootloader first. Please, look for it on google (et9000 bootloader download) and it should work.

You can try to keep the box disconnected from power (unplug the power cord) for a while. And try again to flash the bootloader.

Switch et9000 off and unplug from the power outlet. Remove the top of the casing and observe the power supply capacitors ( round yellow cans). Check the 4700uf to see if it is bulging at the top, if yes, replace with 4700uf 16v and all will be fine. A cheap fix and a common fault.
