Question Cross EPG, and Cool TV Guide issues.

    Hi.

A stab in the dark here.
What with all the changes on 28.2e, cross epg, and cool tv guide, are no longer functional, on older images. Pre ver3???
Two mates came over today, and issues exist.
Latest ver cool tv guide fixes the plugin from exiting when attempting to use it.
As for cross epg, am guessing it's pointing to fresh air, when using open tv providers (no longer pointing to the hip hop radio channel, where the epg is streamed from)
    Am I talking **** here???

    Comments are very welcome.

    Cheers in advance matey peeps

Do you use catseye's settings files?

I've had a crossepg/opentv problem, see over here...

    Yeah mate.
First thing i did, but cheers.
    Catseye files, are always used.
Nice guy, and always so helpful!!
    It's on OE1.6 boxes.
Worst case, i'll hack into cross epg with an editor, and re-point it ;-)
Don't really like Rytec (No offense)
DM800SE Pli ver 4, no issues, once cool guide ver 7 installed, via ipk loader

My point was, if you're using latest catseye 75W-61E, the channels on 11778V for the opentv EPG on are missing. The other files are ok.

    Ahhhh.
So, I was kinda in the right direction.
    That makes sense now.
    I didn't consider that possibility.
    Thanks mate.
So, just a rescan then I guess.
    That's good news.
At least I don't have to update my mates boxes kernel after all.
Cool guide is still a pain, as it has always had issues saving the button values.
Will just force re-map the key.txt

Yep, I just rescanned 11778V DVB-S FEC 2/3 and it all worked again.

Would explain why a re-scan using Auto bouquets worked Lol
    That was on my Vu+Duo
    I should have realised.
    Cheers bud
